This was a PPT file introducing a law firm providing advisory service for energy industry. The firm offered a range of services with respect to energies such as wind power, solar power, hydropower, and nuclear power. As a presentation about company business, the slides were written in a concise language but encompassed a wealth of information.

Over 100 successful cases of the firm were listed, covering client name, project name and relevant information, for which, the linguists have to verify on the Internet and, more often than not, added some supplementary words like “美国光伏巨头 (the American photovoltaic giant)” and “全球领先风能生产商 (the leading wind energy company)” or the name of country where the project was based, for the sake of better understanding of translation. Making many efforts as such, Yijie’s two linguists took 1.5 days to finish the 2,600-word job, before a proofreader was engaged for quality assurance.
